Hello all,

I'm trying to understand something. We have ipads that can be factory reset and as soon as they're connected to the wifi again they will pull down their meraki profile and auto set them selves up.

Please can someone explain or point me in the right direction on how this works and how it has been setup.

thanks.

Techsup.

The iPads in question have been enrolled in the Apple Device Enrollment Program or DEP program. Here's Apple's doc on the program: https://www.apple.com/business/docs/DEP_Guide.pdf and here's Meraki's doc on it: https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Device_Enrollment/Using_Apple's_Device_Enrollment_Program_(DEP)_with_Systems_Manager

It is DEP, they don't exactly "auto configure", the device is setup in Meraki to receive certain apps or profiles.
