Hi!

I would like to know what is the Part Number for adding AMP for Endpoints licenses for an existing account.

Additionally I would like to know how to "install" / "register" the additional licenses on the dashboard.

Hi Martin -

You would use the same SKU as new purchase - top level FP-AMP-LIC=. Minimum purchase requirements still apply, although it looks like the minimum purchase for this has dropped to 25.

There is no key generated on the AMP for Endpoints subscription, the licenses should be provisioned to the account on the backend by Cisco post-purchase.

I’ve one further question. What about the subscription period? The customer already has a suscription that ends on February 2018, the new licenses will end on Octiuber 2018. How is subscription end handled?

If you are a reseller, you would work with your distributor (or Cisco direct if you are a 1T partner) prior to purchase to co-term the license dates to end at the same time. If they have already purchased the add-on licenses, you can do the same when you go to renew the subscription expiring first - add those licenses to your new contract until the other expiration date, and then renew both subscriptions at once for a full 1yr (or whatever contract duration is needed) at that time.
