topic Cisco ACS Incremental Backup error message in Network Access Control

I'm running Cisco ACS 5.8 and I have my backup repository set to SFTP pointing to a linux machine that has sftp server running. The full and incremental backups had been working up until a few months ago and now I'm getting the following error:

/opt/CSCOacs/view/conf/catalog.xml is missing

I've added the folder on the repository but shortly after realized that directory should be on the ACS. But that folder doesn't exist (at least according to the ACS CLI) so my backups are failing. Is there anyway to rebuild that directory structure without performing a factory reset of the ACS and restoring my configuration?

I've already opened a Cisco TAC case, it's been over a month and the most the engineer has done is turn on debug for about an hour and then disappears for several days only to call me when the odds of me being at my desk are very low. And yes I am aware I can put in a request for another engineer and that is my plan, but I figured perhaps someone here had an answer and would save me more time than I've already wasted so far.
