As we already have CiscoWorks LMS 4 and Cisco Prime infrastructure, do we really need another software seperate for firewalls, what can be its additional benefits.

How we compare Cisco Prime Security Manager with Cisco Security Manager, whats the best out of them.

Thanks

I don't have any running here to test, but this is from the PRSM Q&A:

Q. What ASA-X models do this application support?

A. This tool will support all ASA-X devices with ASA Software Release 9.0 or later. Note that ASA 5505 is not supported by this tool.

The whole FAQ only talks about ASA-X and not about the legacy ASAs.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/vpndevc/ps5739/ps12635/qa_c67-713759.html
