Hello,

My customer has an ACS 1121 version 5.4. Now we want to install a secondary ACS 1121.

¿Can anyone help me with the procedure?

The Log collector will be one for the whole deployment. It is recommended to have the Log collector on the instance which is handling less AAA requests.

Straight forward process

First install the server that will be a secondary machine as a standalone machine (in same way as did for the exsiting machine) and then join to the deployment

It is important to ensure that the machine that will be the new secondary machine have the correct and unique license. You cannot join two servers in a deployment if they have the same license

Once the server is installed as a standalone machine; register to the deployment from the following page

System Administration > Operations > Local Operations > Deployment Operations

After the registration completes the secondary server needs to update its database and restart. This takes soem minutes during which time you cannot login to the GUI
