topic ask about the ISE solution in Network Access Control

Dear anyone,

I have some question about the ISE solution:

1/ If we use Dlink access switch or unmanaged switch (linksys of cisco), we can use ISE solution and ISE can control which the devices put in the network and apply policy to other devices (iphone, ipad, laptop)?

2/ If ISE can use with other vendor switch, what is the different between Cisco switch and other vendor switches? What is the benefits when using CIsco Switch?

3/ The recommend of Cisco: which devices we must have in the network when deploying Cisco ISE? which recommend features of switch must support to deploy ISE?

Please answer me early.

Thank,

Vo

Hi,

The ise solution currently only supports cisco switches, wireless controllers. However you can consider the use of an inline posture node so that unsupported network devices (which support radius authentication and accounting) however this can make the solution complex to support and troubleshoot.

Thanks,
Tarik Admani

Sent from Cisco Technical Support iPad App
