ACS AUTHENTICATION

Hi,

I recently upgraded my ACS v3.3 to v5.3.0.40 and am having challenges with Motorola MC55 authenticating on the ACS Version : 5.3.0.40

The WLAN profile on the PDA is security Mode = WPA Enterprise Authentication Type = PEAP

though the device has other type of authentication EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST,LEAP,TTLS

The challange is that the authentication was working fine on ACS v3.3

Has someone encountered such challanges i need help.

Hello Andrew,

You can check the failure reason in ACS Monitoring & Reports Viewer.

Go to Monitoring & Reports > Reports > Catalog > AAA Protocol > RADIUS Authentication

You probably need to configure a PEAP inner method.

There are lots of "flavors" of PEAP. Unfortunately your Motorola device isn't as detailed as it should have been.

As Sergey told, ACS logs will tell us what the authentication problems are. Could you please post those logs ?
