Here's a question I've meeted, pls help me, thx a lot!

 When I first setup my ISE 3595 in CLI mode.Then in the same subnet, I used my computer to ping the IP address which I configured, it's connected! But I can't open the admin web. Does anybody know what's wrong with this?

BTW, I have 2 ISEs, the other one is normal.

Thx~

Nice to hear that it is now resolved.

I am just curious, did you use application start ise safe then application start ise? Because based on the url below, application start ise safe "allows you to disable access control temporarily to the Admin portal and then restart the application after making necessary changes"

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/1-3/cli_ref_guide/b_ise_CLIReferenceGuide/b_ise_CLIReferenceGuide_chapter_0101.html

Have you tried application stop ise, wait for the services to completely stop, application start ise or a reload(if the rest doesn't work)?

I had same problem also and I solved it :

when I did --->show application status ise

I realyse this Application Server initializing

To solve it, I did:

1. stop all the applications

---->Application stop ise

2. Restart applications with the key word safe

---->Application start ise safe

3. check the status of the applications again

---->show application status ise

Then I was able to access the web interface.

I hope It help!
