topic ISE 2.1.0.474 - 302 Redirect Loop on Admin Web GUI in Network Access Control

Hi

We've recently installed an ISE VMWare Virtual Machine instance using 2.1.0.474. Installation was successful, Virtual Machine Resource Check passed and the only settings that have been modified are those that are prompted for during initial setup (e.g. IP Address, admin account).

When attempting to browse to the Admin Web interface (https://x.x.x.x/admin/), the page is caught in a redirect loop with the server responding with a 302 redirect back to https://x.x.x.x/admin.

We have tried with IP address, hostname, removing /admin and http instead of https with no change.

Is there any way to disable the 302 redirect from the CLI? Has anyone else experienced this problem with a fresh 2.1 install? I couldn't find anything that appeared to match in the Bug Search Tool.

Kind Regards

James

This does look like buggy

This does look like buggy behavior to me. Are all the services running when you do a "show application status ise" via the CLI? Also, has a reload helped here? I would recommend opening a TAC case if the problem persists after a reload. Worst case, you can try re-installing the VM if it is a fresh install.
