Gagan is correct, the recovery is not possible with the CD.

A couple of questions/suggestions:

- Is this for a physical or virtual deployment?

- Are you able to get the ISO and make yourself your own DVD/CD or bootable USB stick?

Yes, you can.

Step 1 Power up the appliance. Step 2 Insert the ACS 5.5 recovery DVD. boot: To reset the administrator password, at the system prompt, enter 3 if you are using a keyboard and video monitor, or enter 4 if you are using a serial console port.

I have tried with ISO bootable DVD drive , but iam not getting the options to reset the administrator password. Can you suggest , do i have to follow any more steps to get the administrator password reset Menu.

While booting I have selected booth option to boot with DVD.

Please suggest.

Did you try any other recovery ISO. I would suggest to burn image on some other recovery DVD.

See if that makes any difference because we can't retrieve password without it.
