topic TrustSec isn't ready? in Network Access Control

Well, you require a Nexus to enforce the policies. This is not necessarily highlighted in the marketing slides but is still a requirement.

The same way, sgas are not supported on wireless controllers as of now. But all the rest of the trustsec features (posture assessment and so on) can still take place.

If somebody told you that you could use SGAs with any device, he totally lied. Not all switch models are supported either btw.

Hi,

We have been hoping to deploy Cisco TrustSec for our new mobile working solution.

This would basically enable to perform posture assessments and assign resources to users based on usernames, whether they be

1. Wired

2. Wireless

3. VPN users

it now turns out that the resource assigning aspect(sga/sgx) isn't even ready yet for wireless or VPN users.

Cisco have really sold it as being ready to go.

It doesn't look like it....

Does anyone know any different?

Thanks

Sam
