Hi,

My ACS SE appliance 1113 is currently running with 4.1.1.23. I need to upgrade the software. Which is the latest software version available for ACS SE 1113. At max which version can I load ?

Hi,

You can upgrade to the latest 4.2.x version available.

Currently it is 4.2.1.15.3.

In order to upgrade it to latest version 4.2.1.15 patch 3, you first need to reimage it using 4.2.0.124 recovery CD and then you can upgrade it to 4.2.1.15.

Path should be like this

Take backup of your current config from ACS 1113 4.1.1.23

Reimage the solution engine with 1113 v4.2.0.124 recovery CD

Restore the database that you took on the 4.1.1.23

Upgrade the ACS SE to 4.2.1.15

Apply the latest patch 3

Reimaging the appliance using 4.2 recovery CD

NOTE: Using the recovery DVD to reimage your appliance erases all data on the appliance hard drive.

Hi,

I am new to ACS. I have some queries.

1. How would I get the 4.2.1.15 software. how would i install it.

2. How would I get the latest Patch 3. How to install the patch.

Hi,

The patches are available through the CCO download section.

Regarding the main version software, you will need to open TAC case in order to get hands on the main version, as entitlement needs to be verified.

Can you pls tell me the actual file name of patch 3. pls. let me know so that i can download the right file.

Also pls let me know the procedure to upgrade from 4.2.0.124 to 4.2.1.15.

however, the customer should have a valid support HW or SW contact for the appliance, if Yes, what is the part number for it ?
