In the guide for configuring AAA it says that you must apply the access-method to the lines and interfaces, however if I use aaa authentication login it seems to apply the authentication method to all login methods anyway??

Is this becuase I am using a default method list?, and I only need to apply defined method lists to interfaces or lines? but as I dont have any the default is being used?

When we use default it is applied to all lines. If there is no method list defined to interface default will take effect.

Regards,

~JG
