      <title>Radius encryption question</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just wish to verify what type of encryption used by say a Windows Radius server and a Cisco network device.&amp;nbsp; Online references that Radius only encrypts the password but i can't seem to find any info as to what type of encryption.&amp;nbsp; I am inclined to believe that the password is encrypted using the pre-shard key but what type of encryption (3des. aes?)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
