Is the LAN port is connected while doing the basic configuration as error says about the
I/O operation is in progress. If yes just remove the cable and boot once again the ACS and then try to reset the password.

Regards

Ganesh.H

Do you have a working backup of the ACS Configuration that you could restore?

If you still have access to the GUI using the "GUI Admin credentials",

try to take a backup of the database...

It is very likely that you'll need to re-image the ACS Server

in order to reset the "ACS Console credentials".

Using the same DVD/CD to restore the Administrator password:

ACS Appliance Recovery Options

[1] Reset administrator account

[2] Restore hard disk image from CD

[3] Exit and reboot

Enter menu item number: [2]

This will wipe all your configuration and will re-install the OS, which will force you to re-configure some basic settings like IP address, Gateway, DNS Domain and Servers, NTP Servers...

Once you have GUI access, you can restore your ACS database...the console credentials should not be overwritten by the restore...

HTH.
