Cisco ACS secondary instance

After registering the secondary instance(5.8) with Primary ACS(5.8), i noticed the message saying "instance is now register as secondary....". As expected service restart was in progress on secondary instance..

On Primary server, i dont see secondary server properly registered, still replication and others pendings.

Unfortunately, even after waiting for hours it is still not letting me login to secondary instance web page. When checked services by logging to CLI, they are still trying to come up..

Please help me fix the issue.

Hi Harsha,

I have seen replication takes some longer time when it's in WAN link.

However, please tell if there is a firewall in b/w two nodes.

Also check if replication ports are open b/w the nodes.

Telnet from primary to secondary IP with ports 2638( replication port ), 61616 (Replication over the Message Bus), 2020 and 2030 and vice-versa. See if they are open or not.
