I have license Wireless / wireless upgrate on ise 1.4 and licenses will be expired in two days.

what should I do ?

1.if licenses expired what fuction can ise do ?

2. I intend to migrate to ise 2.1 (lisences wireless and wireless upgrate End Of Sale ) what can we do?

Renew Licenses

Subscription licenses, such as Plus and Apex licenses, are issued for 1, 3 or 5 years. Cisco ISE sends an alarm when licenses are near their expiration date and again when the licenses expire.

Licenses must be renewed after they expire. This process is carried out by your Cisco partner or account team only.

Migrate and Upgrade Licenses

Cisco licensing policy supports migration from previous Cisco ISE versions, upgrading from wireless and VPN only to include wired deployments, and adding concurrent users and functionality. Existing Wireless/Wireless Upgrade deployment will be migrated to Mobility/Mobility Upgrade package during upgrade from Cisco ISE version 1.2 to 1.3.

the wireless/wireless upgrate include base,plus,apex,vpn and wired which the base license suppose to be perpetual and its will be expired with wireless/wireless upgrate. My ise working radius aaa dot1x mab posture. which services can be stopped after licenses expired??

I already have ISE 1.4 which suppose to be mobility and mobility upgrate but licenses was purchased and imported to ise are wireless/wireless upgrade - what can we do??.

If you have upgrade from 1.2 to any upper version then licenses gets upgrade automatically.

Otherwise in case of fresh install/re-image, need to install Mobility and upgrade license.

You have to contact licensing team, get your license changed with mobility and mobility upgrade as wireless/wireless upgrade will not work on 1.3 and higher versions.

Mobility and mobility upgrade licenses cannot coexist on a Cisco Administration node with Base, Plus, or Apex Licenses.

let's say I have a valid license and upgrade my ise from 1.4 to 2.1 . what happen to my valid license ? should require from me new license ?

You don't have to anything in that case. License gets upgrade automatically during the upgrade process.
