    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;As far as login banners are concerned, I don't believe there is a way to change banners based on what you are authenticating to (Radius vs local).  From a security perspective, I don't think it is wise to reveal the status of your network or methods of authentication.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Depending on you Cisco device, you may find a syslog message.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Backup authentication</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My radius config is "aaa authentication login default group radius local&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;aaa authentication login if_needed group radius local" If_needed is configured to console port. If my radius servers are down and i try to get in to cisco box i dont get any message that i should use local username and password. Is there any way to get information that backup authentication in this case local username should use because radius servers are down.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Juha&lt;/P&gt;</description>
