How could I reset ACS admin password if the ACS is not running on appliance.

Hi,

"In ACS versions 2.6 and later, issue the regedit command and remove the users in this location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cisco\CiscoAAA##\CSAdmin\Administrators

Under the Administrators key, see all the administrators that you have created. Delete the users and exit the registry. When you access ACS, you are not prompted for a user name and password. Once you are in the GUI, add administrators. "

Editing the registry will not work if the ACS server version is 4.0 or above.

You will have to reinstall.

But there a possibility, if you have not changed the default settings on the ACS server.

On the ACS server if you access the server by

http://127.0.0.1:2002 , it won't ask for username/passwd. But this is default setting.
