I try to configure a Cisco Secure ACS V3.0 (WINDOWS 2000 & NT)

Originally 2 TACACS server were running, tacacsb as a backup (secondary) for tacacsa.

tacacsb were removed to another IP subnet where it is supposed to run as standalone.

I have changed the IP addr on the 2000 server and in the tacacs application.

I want to remove the proxy distribution table (see the config below). However, following the guideline in the online manual siply does not work.

network configuration > proxy distribution table

Character String AAA Servers Strip Account

(Default) tacacsa,tacacsb No Local

QUESTION. Have I damaged the configuration af tacacsb by removing it from tacacsa, Before removing tacacsb I tested it and it seemed to work, i.e authenticate users.

I far from experienced here but I can provide the info you need.

Thanks

Simon

Do the following:

a) Place the tacacsb server at its first location.

b) Go to Proxy Distribution Table.

c) Move the server that you wish to remove to the left side

d) Click submit + Restart

e) Try removing the server.
