ACS - Functional Query

Hi,

We have Two DataCenter one in INDIA and another in HONGKONG

We want to deploy ACS at both location and ensure if ACS Server in INDIA is down then users can connect through HONGKONG ACS-Server.....

<Q1> How many licenses do I need for ACS

<Q2> How will the server replicate with each other... what is required..?? What is the frequency of replication??

<Q3> Does ACS latest version integrate well with Windows 2003 Active Directory

A1. Two, one for each

A2. ACS Db replication - you'll need to choose one of your servers as a master and the other a slave.

A3. Yes

re A2. You could opt to have a 3rd ACS which is a "config master" - ie the one you make admin changes on. The India & HK servers are "production slaves" who get their config replicated down from the master.

A bit more expensive, but its how I would do it.

I would have multiple admins so how could your suggestion works.... Please Ellaborate using the following points....

If admin in INDIA wants to create an account where would he create it.....

Do you any cisco link explaining in more details about the scenario with implementation examples...

Which ACS version would you recommend
