We are in the process of setting up AAA Accounting to a Radius server from our switches, wireless controller and VPN. We are trying to figure out what the logic, or interval is that the devices send 'Interim Updates' to the ACS. Right now the intervals seem to be random. I tried configuring a 3750 switch with the command

"aaa accounting update periodic 15" which I thought would make it send updates every 15 minutes, but we still seem to be getting updates sent every 2 to 3 minutes.

Anyone have any ideas on when the devices choose to send interim updates, and how to change them to be sent on fixed intervals?

Thanks,

Joe
