Hi, I can be able to authenticate users in ACS internal database using wireless web authentication but this is not possible for windows users using PEAP + MSCHAP ver2. help please.

You want ACS internal user to authentication PEAP or Windows users for Webauth?

Question is not clear, Please give complete information on question you ask.

I was configuring layer 2 security on the WLAN controller to be 802.1x then choosing PEAP with MSCHAP on xp clients. under this setup i could not authenticate users in Active directory. I changed the layer 2 security on the WLC to WPA(802.1x) and i could authenticate am looking for an expalanation why choosing 802.1x only could not work. thanks

802.1x option on WLC is to configure dynamic WEP key.

When you configure this, make sure you configure clients for dynamic WEP keys.

I have tried it and it works fine with PEAP MSCHAP 2.
