Hi List, we've adquired a new ACS v4.1 Solution Engine, before we used UCP, with ACS 3.2 Windows based. Can I enable UCP over ACS Solution Engine? is it possible? or maybe I have to use a diferent server...

Thanks...!

Omar

Omar,

UCP can't be installed on Appliance, you need to have another server. AS ACS SE is build on

a hardend Windows OS, and is not accessible as a normal Windows OS server.

If we want to use UCP, we need to install UCP on a seprate Windows server, which has IIS

server running.

Regards,

Jagdeep

But I know this for sure that it works with Apache.

Instructions will be same as for IIS, just make sure that you give enough privileges on "securecgi-bin" folder so that it can execute the scripts.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_soft/csacs4nt/acs41/ucp41/ucp.htm

Have done this long way back.

FYI,

/-------------------------/

To install UCP, you must have a web server that runs either:

?Microsoft IIS 5.0 (included with Windows 2000)

?Microsoft IIS 6.0 (included with Windows Server 2003)

/-------------------------/

So if you face any issues with operation of UCP on Apache, TAC may not be able to help.

But we are here, so lets try our best 🙂

Cheers,

Prem
