ACS 5.0 IP Pools

Hi All

I came to know that there is no ip pools in the cisco acs 5.0

Can anybody provide an alternative method to achieve this.

Such as how to define the dhcp server and a dhcp pool details to a user or a group

ACS5.x Doc missing no support for IP Pool, Max User session, WinDialuser.

Symptom:

The ACS 5.x release notes do not show that we don't support the windows 4.x features of IP Pools, Max User Session or Windows Dial in Users.

yes you can use external DHCP server , or also configure static IP assignment as in attached ppt

I am using this feature of static assignment.

My problem is if i am using a external dhcp server how can i configure it in acs such as

Group 1 takes ip from Poo1

Group 2 takes ip from Pool2

How to mention the DHCP server entry in acs or do ihave to this in the AAA client.

If you're using Cisco ASA as a VPN server, then you could config your Cisco ASA to tell your vpn client to use a particular DHCP server.

By the way, the bug you're talking about is in Status : Fixed (verified).

That means that's the patch is about to be released.
