    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are doing similiar but I believe you do not have the ability to go more granular then the interface.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege configure level 8 interface &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Provides access to all interfaces but the command doesn't seem to be able to differentiate past that point. Might be able to do it using a TACACs server though. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Guys and Gals,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to allow a level 9 user in my switches the ability to manage interfaces f0/1 to f0/44 but NOT &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;interfaces f0/45 thru interface f0/48 (these are trunks). Any Idea why this does not work...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege interface level 8 switchport port-security max&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege interface level 8 switchport port-security mac stick&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege configure level 15 interface f0/45&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege configure level 8 interface f0/8&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege exec level 8 config t&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege exec level 6 show interface&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;privilege exec level 6 show run&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks !&lt;/P&gt;</description>
