ACS cannot directly prompt a user intiating HTTP connection to your webserver. You need a NAS (Network device) in between the user and the webserver (eg PIX or router) which will Proxy the HTTP request and authenticate the user with ACS; upon success, it will patch the connection to the webserver, and on fail, tear down the connection.

Eg;

Auth-Proxy feature on a router

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/793/ios_fw/auth6.html

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/793/ios_fw/auth_intro.html

HTTP authentication through the PIX

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/110/atp52.html

Regards

Yusuf
