Yes, you can do a "host transfer" to move the licenses to new serial numbers. You can do it yourself through the licensing portal if your account has access to the licenses or you can open a TAC case and they can do it for you.

Hi Experts,

My customer is looking at purchasing new servers for ISE licenses and are looking at either one of these options below. They would like to know if they can retain their current 10,000 ISE Base license and move these across to these new appliances.

5 x SNS-3655-K9

5 x SNS-3695-K9

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Lewis

Licensing wise you're fine, just need to update the details in the licensing portal. It's worth reminding that only specific versions of ISE support the new 36xx platform, so do your due diligence if you plan on co-existing with the older 35xx platforms.
