Cisco ISE 2.4 appliance synchronization question

Hello,

I'm trying to add a secondary PAN/MNT/PSN to a primary appliance, but initial sync fails; my customer wants to use the GigabitEthernet1 interfaces for syncing, which are the ones pointed to by forward and reverse DNS entries. Is perhaps GigabitEthernet0 the only interface that can be used for this?
