topic ISE 2.6 hangs up in Network Access Control

Hello ISE Experts. I have a customer with a fresh install of ISE 2.6, Patch 2. They mention, and I witnessed today, that after about an hour of leaving the ESXi console open, ISE hangs and must be rebooted. I've done some searching and can't find anything that suggests that this is expected or a known issue. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I received and email from them Friday and their ISE VM had hung two more times.

Thanks!

This is almost always caused by a backup utility snapshotting the VM. The login prompt will appear, but when you try to log in it just hangs at a blinking cursor. You can confirm in the vmware gui logs for the VM if there are snpshots happening.

You can look at this, someone shared some config to help prevent snapshots if that is the issue.
https://community.cisco.com/t5/security-documents/ise-prevent-vmware-snapshots/ta-p/3938259
