hi,

i'll setup an ISE lab and would need to know which correct OVA file to download?

i can see 2.4 is TAC recommended (gold star): ISE-2.4.0.357-virtual-Eval.ova

should i download/use this eval OVA file? is this the 90-day eval OS?

i'm only using VMware workstation in windows 10 with 16 GB RAM. appreciate if someone can advise what minimum specs to use for the VM: memory, processor, HDD, etc.

You are going to need more resources to run the appliance. See https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/2-4/install_guide/b_ise_InstallationGuide24/b_ise_InstallationGuide24_chapter_01.html

Good luck & HTH!

I usually use 8 GB and 8 cpu on my laptop to run a standalone node. I have run dedicated 2.4 psn's with as little as 2 GB on my laptop but ran in to some very odd issues, so avoid that. In your case, give it as much as vmware workstation will allow you to.

So for me, 8 GB, 8 cpu, 200 GB stored as single file works fine for me.
