topic Loading 2.4 Code on 3495 Appliance Warnings in Network Access Control

Hi Folks,

What happens if you try and load ISE 2.4 code on a 3495? Are there any warnings or preventions?

Also, will the URT tool flag you if you try and upgrade a 3495 to 2.4 when you run URT on it?

I had a customer load 2.4 on a 3495 and I am wondering how that happened or if there are actually no warnings in the code or the URT. I fully understand it is documented, just looking for what the code and URT actually pop up.

Thanks,

Fresh install from the ISE 2.4 Install ISO medium will get blocked.

Upgrade not prevented due to known bugs:

CSCvj74314 Upgrade to ISE 2.4 is possible on unsupported appliances SNS 3400
CSCvo22887 ISE 2.4 URT does not check is node is on a supported appliance
