Looking for feedback. I have a customer that has a excessively high count in their dashboard repeat counters. TAC (686627918) is telliing them this is due to their guest wireless and clients automatically connecting and then disconnecting or roaming. I can understand the explanation since they have a open wireless network. Looking to hear from others and see what you've done if anything to curb the excessive authentications. I know I can add a hotspot PSK or usename/password but the customer is not interested in going that route.

Thanks.

Hi mate,

How much repeat counters are you seeing?

Are you showing it for one endpoint only or multiple different mac addresses?

Can you send a photo.

If it's too high then probably there's an issue on the supplicant or your wireless infrastructure timeout that it keeps on reinitiating the authentication session.

Cheers,

Raffy
