Please check respective documentation for the OS, this has nothing to do with ISE. We will support supplicants that work with the standards.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/security/identity-services-engine/products-device-support-tables-list.html

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/2-4/compatibility/b_ise_sdt_24.html#otherclientmachineos

Client Machine Operating System

Web Browser
32<>

Supplicants (802.1X)

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

· Google Chrome

· Mozilla Firefox

Not tested extensively
33<>

Table 15.

Hi,

Do we have support of Native supplicant for below Linux versions. ISE is a part of SDA fabric:

14.04, 16.04, 18.04

Ubuntu

Cent OS 7.1

Linux

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Manasi,

Ubuntu comes preloaded with 802.1x supplicant.

If not, you can use open source supplicants for Linux like the Xsupplicant or wpa supplicant. you can also find some you tube links to show the flow with Linux and ISE.

Thanks,

You’d have to check with the specific OS version support
