<title>topic Generating a new PAC file fails in Network Access Control</title>
    <link>https://community.cisco.com/t5/network-access-control/generating-a-new-pac-file-fails/m-p/3810984#M484760</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Gurus, The PAC key for our ASA 5585 firewall expired. When I go to that device in ISE, I can see the old PAC information (shows expired) and I am able to click on 'Generate PAC'. I confirm the device name is the same as its registered name, enter the password, select a new duration (I tried several of them). But each time I receive the attached, non-specific error. So far I have been unable to locate any other log messages that might point to a possible cause. I could use some assistance in either finding the correct log to examine, or other suggestions about how to solve this issue. ISE Version: 2.3.0.298, patches 1,5 Thank you in advance! -Paul&lt;/P&gt;</description>
