Hmm. Good luck resolving this... sounds like a tough one.

We're running patch 9 still, so I can't speak to patch 10 install. However, there was a post from somebody else last week who also had trouble: https://community.cisco.com/t5/policy-and-access/cisco-ise-2-2-patch-10-breaks-deployment/m-p/3712781#M71431

His symptoms appear to be different though. Keep us posted here on what you figure out with TAC.

ISE 2.2 Patch 10

Is anyone experiencing similar problems upgrading from patch 2.2 patch 5 to Patch 10 ?

I have a environment running ISE 2.2 patch 5

running on 2 adm nodes 2 log nodes and 4 psn's

downloaded ISE 2.2 patch 10

verified MD5

When upgrading from GUI it started installing on all nodes (exept 1)

all 7 patched nodes was stuck in - initializing state for 1 hour+

except my one psn that stayed un-patched and active.

- got to the point where my service window ran out.

- supplied TAC with support bundle and log info. so far reply was to try upgrading from CLI in service window.

cleared a service window for tonight -

installed from CLI on the primary node - still got the same result:

Application Server initializing

show application:

ise Cisco Identity Services Engine
Patches: 2 3 5 10

Is anyone experiencing the same problems ?
