ISE Temporal Agent posture

Hi Team,

I have a customer who is deployment ISE using Posture Temporal agent.

When they try to configure the Posture Policies with Conditions they cannot configure Anti-Virus conditions, but they can configure Anti-Malware.

I was checking in Test ISE 2.4 VM and I could get a list of vendors in AM conditions (attached). Checking some details I found that Temporal Agent uses the OPSWAT v4 libraries lists and this only presents the definition Anti-Malware but includes Anti-Virus.

They want to confirm if Anti-Malware conditions include the Anti-Virus conditions, they want to know the differences between AM or AV conditions in Posture policies and why they cannot see AV using Temporal Agent.

Any comment or suggestion ?

Anti malware encompasses both antivirus and anti spyware

Thanks Jason, but the link you sent about Compatibility guide is related to AnyConnect agent, is it the same for Temporal agent ?

There is nothing separate for the temporal

Just a question relating to this.

How to configure temporal agent for client provisioning - is there any additional reqt, not just by pointing the software for temporal agent?

I would suggest starting here, then asking any additional question you may have. It goes through the high level steps to leverage the temporal agent. This will also run through some of the caveats and the temporal agent steps are the section below in this link.
