      <title>Cisco ISE Licensing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I want to buy license for Cisco ISE. I searched and found 3 different part number for&amp;nbsp;Cisco ISE Virtual Machines:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;small, medium and large.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I dont know&amp;nbsp; shoud I order&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;icense according to VM size or the Session counts?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The licenses cover the different VM sizes. (Note there is also a new Extra Large VM as of ISE 2.4.) Which VM size you need depends on the size of your deployment.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;ISE deployment design depends on a lot of things, most notably concurrent endpoints. I recommend having a look at the excellent Cisco Live presentation on "Designing ISE for Scale and High Availability". The latest version of that can be found here:&lt;/P&gt;
