This is a discussion on best practices I found.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11974106/ise-reauthentication-timer" style="font-size: 10pt;" title="https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11974106/ise-reauthentication-timer"&gt;https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11974106/ise-reauthentication-timer&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In trying to enter a long timer, ISE limits it to 1-65535 seconds&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, at max value a little over 18 hours.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now, if you don't set reauth, it should basically be indefinite.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
