ISE (iso version) installed on 3rd party server

Hello,

Is posible to install the ISE server on other server besides the appliance using the iso?

I have found some reference about the topic:

But i need the documentation where is said to refute this have any one found or can send me the link where is said that it can/cant be installed on a 3rd party server.

ISO install is only supported (and will fail otherwise) on the platforms listed in the compatibility guide. It will only install on our appliances.

Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) can be installed on Cisco SNS hardware or virtual appliances.
