Stable version of ISE

Just wanted to get recommendation of the stable version of ISE is it 2.3 or 2.4? This is for a new deployment. I understand that 2.4 patch 1 is out. But I read in the forums (few months back) that BU was recommending 2.2 with the latest patch?

For a new customer, we bought licenses based on new model (version 2.4 because no choice) but installed 2.3 patch 3 on which I don't have any issues on multiple customers deployments.

What i would recommend is checking release notes and analyze if there are any bugs in features you planned to implement.

Current feedback I've heard is as follows:

a. 2.2 latest patch is fine for existing deployments not requiring any of the 2.3 or 2.4 features.

b. 2.3 latest patch for DNA-C customers.

c. 2.4 latest patch for new deployments or customers wanting newest features.

2.4 has been quite stable since its release. There are also a lot of improvements under the covers with respect to performance. For large deployments, some of the new options for MnT nodes significantly improve performance for live log queries and reporting.
