You need the "L-ISE-TACACS" licence for TACACS. This is per the whole deployment (doesn't matter how many devices/users/ISE nodes) and just like Base licences, TACACS licence does not expire, no need to renew it.

To apply TACACS licence you do need to have Base licence with at least 100 endpoints.

Most of the Cisco devices/appliances will support TACACS.

Many other vendors also support it, but I haven't tried integrating non-Cisco product with ISE TACACS, there might be some compatibility issues. I am curios has anyone tried it, what are the experiences?

hey ,

i would like to integrate Tacacas+ in my company , i need to know which licenses i need to do that (base and admin or more or less plus did i need a license of the VM machine).

and heard that the Tacacas+ is on/off license , what is mean ? (no consumption whatever for endpoints or users but i need to renew it annually ? ).

and which type of device Tacacas+ support ?

thanks
