need your help, is it possible to restore config from ise 2.1 version in 2.4 fresh install??

Hi,

Yes, ISE 2.4 supports restore from backups of ISE version 2.0 or later.

While it is officially "supported" I recently had a case where it would not work with a 2.1 backup. TAC advised me to first upgrade to 2.2 and then restore onto the new ISE (2.6 in my case).

and Upload backup from 1.4 in 2.4? Customer is running 1.4 and we are planning to install new Devices, That Only supports from 2.4 Versions.

best Solution Upload config from 1.4 to 2.4 or upgrade current Devices to 2.1??

I Believe need to upgrade from 1.4 to 2.2 extract backup in that version (2.2) then Upload in new Devices running 2.4
