Guest Hotspot Portal Redirection using HTTP or HTTPS

Is it still best practice to use a HTTP site for redirection to the Guest Portal or can we now use HTTPS as well?

Currently on 2.2 patch 15

This is not an ISE limitation but rather a dependency on the Wireless LAN Controller. See this post for more information including possible performance impacts to enabling this feature on the WLC.

As in the link Greg provided, we are most likely getting certificate errors with HTTPS redirects because this is how HTTPS works and because the web browsers used to access the portal unlikely trust the certificate on the wireless controller portal being those for the redirected sites.
