ISE 3.0 patch 2: ise messaging service under system cert greyed out

Hello,

Do anyone know why under system certificate "ise messaging service" option is greyed out? I.e. unable to select it.

I was able to select it to use an internally issued certificate but when I try to add it back to the self-signed certificate they box is greyed out.

I tried restarting the service, rebooting and adding patch 2. Nothing works.

Hi @KelvinT ,

I'm not sure if I fully understand your question ...

Remember that: (as an example) Administration > System > Certificates: Certificate Management > Certificate Signing Request - click the Generate Certificate Signing Requests (CSR) ... Usage: choose ISE Messaging Service.

Note: you must Enable the Certificate Authority at Administration > System > Certificates: Certificate Authority > Internal CA Settings, to be able to select the ISE Messaging Service.
