ISE MnT backup and restore

Hi Experts,

Setup is distributed, primary and seconday PAN and MnT nodes are present in the deployment.
Now when the primary MnT goes down, the Secondary becomes the primary. But, when I bring back my primary online, then will they sync up data or do I need to do it manually.
If this needs to be done manually, then do I need to backup operational data from Secondary MnT and restore it on Primary MnT?

Any suggestions?

it will sync automatically, and when all synched you can promote back as primary.
