Where is Ping and Traceroute on ISE (from GUI)?

A few years ago, in the old Cisco ACSs, there were in the GUI, under the menu "Monitoring & Reports> Troubleshooting> Connectivity Tests", the ping, traceroute and nslookup utilities...

Now, on ISE 2.6, I only found the ping, but in the CIMC interface 😞

Where can I find these commands through the admin GUI? Are they only available through the CLI?

Hi @Daniel RLL

ISE does not have ping or traceroute in the GUI. Only on CLI. Along with tests for DNS (nslookup), NTP (show ntp), etc.

Back in the day ISE CLI also had the useful 'telnet' command to allow testing of TCP communications. Maybe that will make a comeback one day.

You could put in a feature request to have this included in the GUI in future.
