topic CAT Card authentication in Network Access Control

Hi all,

Currently we have username/password authentication for our dialup users using AS5300 via ISDN lines to the Cisco ACS. However, we are thinking doing CAT card authentication with a built-in reader on the keyboard and the user can swipe their CAT card like a credit card for authentication. What other equipment do I need or configuration change do I need to do? Thanks in advance.

The issuer must program their MasterCard Electronic chip applications tobe online only. A cardholder cannot use a MasterCard Electronic cardwithout a CVM on a CAT terminal. Full grade, online-capable CAT terminals do not need to support an offlineCard Authentication Method (CAM).
