Hi,

Our Meraki Wi-Fi connected devices are dropping connection randomly. When I have looked at the ISE logs I see this for every error-

Endpoint abandoned EAP session and started new

Is there a reason for this error?

It has nothing to do with Meraki.

The message is telling you your endpoint gave up and tried again. This happens for a lot of reasons... user actions, inactions, try a different SSID, latency from ISE, timer settings, other endpoint supplicant configuration settings.

Given the absence of any endpoint and scenario detail it is impossible to know more.

The first step would be to reproduce it. See <LI-MESSAGE title="How to Ask The Community for Help" uid="3704356" url="https://community.cisco.com/t5/security-knowledge-base/how-to-ask-the-community-for-help/m-p/3704356#U3704356" discussion_style_icon_css="lia-mention-container-editor-message lia-img-icon-tkb-thread lia-fa-icon lia-fa-tkb lia-fa-thread lia-fa"></LI-MESSAGE> for suggestions on what troubleshooting details might be needed.
