All ISE patches are cumulative, so patch 12 includes all changes in all previous patches for ISE version 2.6.

Installing a newer patch does not remove the older installed patches. This allows you to rollback to previous patch versions if required. If you were to rollback patch 12, for example, you would be back to running patch 3.

The latest patch version shown in the 'show version' output reflects the patch level that is running on the platform.

Hello.

Upgraded ISE patch version from 3 to 12

After the upgrade, I entered the 'show version' command and it says

============Show version =============

Cisco Application Deployment Engine OS Release: 2.6
ADE-OS Build Version: 2.6.0.900.55
ADE-OS System Architecture: x86_64

Copyright (c) 2005-2019 by Cisco Systems, Inc.
All rights reserved.
Host name: ISE

Version information for installed applications
---------------------------------------------

Cisco ID Services Engine
---------------------------------------------
Version: 2.6.0.156
Production Date: Tuesday, February 12, 2019 200:45:06
Installation Date: Monday, May 8 10:57:07 2023

Cisco ID Services Engine Patches
---------------------------------------------
Version: 3
Installation Date: Tuesday, May 9th 14:45:52 2023

Cisco ID Services Engine Patches
---------------------------------------------
Version: 12
Installation Date: Tuesday, May 9 16:28:20 2023

================================================

What I'm curious about is
1. Using 3 and 12 patches together?

2. Should I have rolled back and upgraded patch file 3?

3.Or is there a command to check if you are currently using patch 12 version?

My equipment is SNS-3615-K9, not vmware.

Please help me..
